So far the book is starting off kinda slow. It is starting to get a little more interesting. I think the book is so far better than the movie. It is making me want to keep reading and find out what happens next. I don't really like the Dursleys. After they took in Harry they had him sleep in a cupboard under the stairs.

I noticed that Harry is basically an outcast right now because no one likes him in school and the Dursleys treat him like crap. They blame everything on him and he gets in trouble for everything he does. He got punished because the mom cut his hair really short and in the morning it grew back to how it was. I really want to know what the letter Harry got in the mail says. The father took it from Harry and was shocked by what it said. Then the mother took and was about to faint. Then she started to choke. Harry never got to read it yet because him and Dudley got kicked out of the kitchen. If Harry's parents never died then Harry might have ever had to deal with the Dursleys.

Dudley's birthday came along and he got everything he wanted. Then Harry's birthday came along and he didn't get anything. More letters kept coming in the mail so the Dursleys go for a trip but the letters keep coming to the place that they are at. I noticed that the letters are always addressed to the exact place that Harry is staying at. Then they went to a cabin in the middle of a lake and it was really old and broken down. Then a giant named Hagrid comes into the little shack and tells Harry that he is a wizard. He also tells him about the evil wizard Voldemort. He told him that he was the wizard that actually killed his parents. Hagrid then tells Harry that they are going shopping in the morning to get stuff for Hogwarts. I wanna know what the place looks like. If Hagrid would of never came and got Harry, then he would of probably just lived a miserable life with the Dursleys.

Hagrid takes Harry to the wizard bank to get some wizard money that his parents left for him. He then takes Harry to get the stuff he needs for Hogwarts like a robe, wand, and he also getsan owl. I noticed that Hagrid is actually really nice because he bought the owl for Harry and then he got lunch for him to. Hagrid then gives Harry a train ticket to Hogwarts but he has to wait a month and he has to stay with the Dursleys until then. I wanted to know what Harry's birthday was? At the end of the month, Harry asks Mr. Dursley to give him a ride to the train station and he does. When he gets there he cant find his platform. So he asks a lady that also has wizard boys and she tells him to just run at the pillar in-between the two stations. He goes through the pillar and he gets on the train and meets a boy named Ron. He has three brothers and one sister but the sister isn't old enough to go to Hogwarts. What if Mr. Dursley would of never gave Harry a ride to the train station? He probably would of never gone to Hogwarts.

Harry buys a whole bunch of sweats forhim and Ron to eat. Then a boy named Malfoy comes in and they fight. Ron's rat bites Malfoy and he runs out of the room with his to body guards. I've noticed that Ron and Harry are becoming really good friends. A girl then walks in and starts talking about all the books that she has read before school and all the spells that she has learned. I wonder what kind of spells that she learned all ready? What if the lady at the train station never told Harry how to get to the station? He probably would of never gotten on the train and never been able to go to Hogwarts. Harry changes his clothes because the girl that came in earlier told them that they are almost there.

When they arrive at Hogwarts, all the new students had to go to the main room to get separated into teams. Harry and Ron both got into Gryffindor. Hermione also got into Gryffindor. What if Harry would of got on a different team?They go to all there classes. When they start working Snape keeps asking Harry questions that no one knows and is making him look bad in front of everyone. He then takes points away from Gryffindor because Harry didn't tell Neville that he wasn't supposed to do something. I noticed that he doesn't like harry that much.Harry then gets a letter from Hagrid to have tea with him. Ron asks Harry if he could go and meet Hagrid. When they get there, Hagrid is holding back his dog and is also making tea for them. Harry then reads a paper on his table that the vault Hagrid got the package out of got robbed that same day. Harry and Ron then go back to Hogwarts. They then learn that they will be taking broomstick flying lessons with the Slytherins, which Malfoy is in. When they get to the forest they see broomsticks on the ground and they have to command it to fly into there hands from the ground. Harry is one of the first ones. Neville then begins to fly, then he falls and breaks his wrist. I wonder if Harry will fly good?

Malfoy takes the glass ball that Nevile dropped and gets on his brookstick. Harry gets on his and goes after him. He catches is before it hits the ground. The teacher catches Harry flying when they weren't supposed to be. She takes him to see a student and tells him that he will be the seeker for the Gryffindor team. Malfoy then tells Harry to meet him for a duel but he doesn't show. Instead he tries to get him caught but they run and hide behind a locked door. I noticed that Harry takes risks to go against Malfoy. They find a three headed dog guarding a trap door. I wonder what it's guarding? They run back to the Gryffindor tower. If they wouldn't have gone to the fake duel, they would of never found out about the dog.

Harry starts going to the practice for the Quidditch team. After a couple of months its almost Halloween. One of the teachers comes into the room and tells the teachers that there is a mountain troll in the school. So all the students go to their towers' but not Ron and Harry. They go to look for Hermione. They find her in the girls bathroom but the troll comes in after them. They fight and kill it before it hurts any of them. Then teachers come in and see what they did. Then Harry gets ready for his first Quidditch match. He hovers above the field looking for the Snitch. He sees it but so does the other seeker, so they both go after it but they lose sight of it. Then Harry goes above everyone again but his broom starts to try to throw him off. Hermione and Ron go and stop Snape for doing it. What if Harry would of fell off his broomstick? I notice that Snape seems like a dark wizard. Then Harry ends up finding the Snitch again and he catches it in his mouth. The Gryffindor team wins. I wonder if Harry would of never caught the Snitch if they would of still won.

Harry, Ron and Hermione find out that the Nicholas Flamel has to do with something that the dog is guarding. They went to Hagrid's little shack and talked to him. He accidentally slipped and said something about it. So they start to look for his name in the Wizard History books but they couldn't find his name anywhere. When its almost Christmas, Ron and Harry stay at Hogwarts while Hermione leaves to visit her family. They continue to look for his name. I noticed that they really want to find out what the dog is guarding. For Christmas, Harry gets a gift from someone but he doesn't know who. The little note that came with it said " This invisibility cloak was your father's, use it well." So Harry goes to the forbidden section of the library and looks for his name. He almost gets caught but he hides in a room. he looks around and he finds a really big mirror in it. He looks in the mirror and he can see his parents. He goes back the next few nights. I wonder what would of happened if he would of got caught that night at the library? Then one night he goes back to the mirror and Dumbledore is there waiting for him. He tells Harry that the mirror shows what the person wants the most. He also tells Harry that people waste there lives looking into this mirror so he is going to move it do a different location and not to go looking for it. Harry then has to get ready for his next Quidditch match against Hufflepuff. Harry ends up catching the Snitch and winning the match.

At dinner, Harry, Hermione and Ron get a letter from Hagrid to come to his hut. When they get there, Hagrid opens the door slowly and lets them in. Ron looks into the fire and sees a big black egg. Hagrid tells them that it is a dragon egg. He won it. He tells them that he will send them another letter when it is going to hatch. And a couple days letter they get the letter so they run down to see it hatch. And over the weeks the dragon keeps getting bigger and bigger. So they ask Ron's cousin if he can take the dragon and he says yes. He tells them to meet him on the tallest tower at midnight. So Harry and Hermione take the dragon with his invisible cloak and go to the top of the tower. They were so happy when the dragon was gone because it is illegal to have a dragon. But when they go down the steps they get caught because they left the cloak on the roof. They get 50 points each taken away from Gryffindor and they get detention. They have to go to Hagrid's at night to serve the detention. He tells them that they will be going into the forbidden forest. Harry, Hermione, Neville, and Malfoy all got caught that night. He tells them that there is a whole bunch of silvery blood everywhere and its from a unicorn. Something has been killing them and they need to find this one that is injured. So Malfoy and Neville go with fang, Hagrid's big lazy dog and Harry and Hermione go with Hagrid. While they are looking for the unicorn, they find centaurs but they haven't seen anything.

The centaurs leave and they hear another noise s and they find a hooded figure crouched over a unicorn body. It gets up and flies away. They try to follow it but it gets away. Harry and the others think its Snape so they run to the castle to see if he's there but when they get there they run into him. After a couple of normal weeks, they decide that they need to go into the trap door after the stone. So later that night they go to the door and find that the dog is already put to sleep. I noticed that they were right about this was going to be the night the person would go after the stone. So they jump down the trap door and come to a giant chess board. They have to become chess pieces and win the game. So Ron takes control and ends up sacrificing himself so Harry and Hermione can move on. They then go to a room with a giant locked door. They see a whole bunch of flying keys and they notice one has a broken wing so they go after it. When they get it all the keys start to fly at them so they go through the door as fast as they could. Then there is a big fire in there way so they have t drink a potion to get past it. Harry drinks it and finds the Professor Quirrell was the one after the stone and that Snape never tried to kill Harry. It was him all alone. He tells Harry that to get the stone u need to use the mirror but he doesn't know how. He tells Harry to look in the mirror and he finds out that he somehow got it in his pocket. Quirrell then takes off his turban and there is a face on the back of his head. It was Voldemort. Harry ends up getting saved by Dumbledore. The stone is destroyed and Dumbledore rewards Harry, Ron, and Hermione with points for there bravery and they end up winning the house cup. I wonder what would of happened if they never would of went down the trap door?
